The Harvey Centre in Harlow is proud to be sponsoring the Harlow Tye Rotary Club’s 22nd annual Charity Abseil.
The abseil will take place at the iconic Affinity Water Tower in Church Langley on Saturday 4th and Sunday 5th May and is open to participants aged 16 years or older. All participants must complete a registration form and pay £35.00 to the Rotary Club of Harlow Tye to be involved. All additional sponsorship money raised will be given to the participant’s charity of choice.
All participants will receive a commemorative certificate to acknowledge their achievement. Photos will be taken at the Water Tower and sent later to each person. Over the last 21 years, over £950,000 has been raised for over 400 local and national charities, with more than 4,000 people descending the tower!
The Harlow Tye Rotary Club employs fully qualified experts to train and supervise every descent from the tower to ensure the utmost safety of the event’s participants.
To get involved, participants should visit The Harlow Tye Rotary Club website (www.harlowtyerotary.org.uk) and follow the instructions to register. Alternatively they can contact firstname.lastname@example.org or call/text Bill Colton on 07711982671. Teams are also entitled to enter.
Bryan Young, Centre Manager at The Harvey Centre says, “We’re thrilled to be sponsoring the Harlow Tye Rotary Club Charity Abseil once again this year. It’s one Harlow event not to be missed – offering a great sense of challenge and achievement for participants, while spectators enjoy the spectacle from the ground. Above all it is a great way for Harlow residents to support numerous charities far and wide.”
