The Harlow Art and Sculpture Trail (25th June – 9th July)

Tuesday 31st May 2016

It’s that time of the year again and we are busy organising the Harlow Art and Sculpture Trail. We are now in our 3rd year and the trail this year is getting bigger and better.

We’re very excited that we have 21 talented artists in total taking part in the trail and their work can be seen in venues listed below. Plus, for the first time we are going to dedicate one of the venues on the trail to the young people of Harlow, so if there are any budding artists out there who would like their work to be included as part of the trail then get in contact with us.

The trail is on the 25th June to the 9th July, so we will need the artwork brought in to us, Gibberd Gallery or Phoenix Resources by the 20th June.

This year we have lots of firsts, with shops taking part for the first time and also artists exhibiting their work for the 1st time.

As a new edition to the trail this year we are having a children’s exhibition in the window of Firebird Radio, so we are asking for entries from local children through Facebook, Twitter and also all the local schools have been emailed so we are hoping to get a good response.

We’re also having an artist studio tour on the 9th July at 11am as part of the trail, the public can meet their tour guide at the Eastgate Gallery and will then be taken on a tour behind the scenes of the Gatehouse Arts Studios to meet some of the artists, the tour lasts approx. 1 hour and is free. It is a chance to meet the artists, talk to them about their inspirations and artwork, and see new work being created.

The venues taking part this year are:
