The Harvey Centre in Harlow is excited to welcome The O’Connor and Hennigan Irish Dance Academy to the centre on Saturday 16th March.
The dance academy will be dancing to raise funds to send some of their students to participate in the World Irish Dancing Championships in Greensboro, North Carolina, this coming April.
Their appearance at The Harvey Centre is perfectly timed to get visitors in the spirit of St. Patrick’s Day on Sunday 17th March and they can be found in both the meeting point and The Terrace from 12pm.
The O’Connor & Hennigan Irish Dance Academy was founded in 2017, with the merging of two long standing and successful dance schools in the South of England – The Hennigan School and The O’Connor Academy of Irish Dancing. Priding themselves on being fully inclusive, they welcome everyone – from the smallest beginner to their champions.
The world championships in Greensboro will see dancers from as young as 10 years of age, from all over the world, compete against each other for the title, making it a very exciting and prestigious opportunity for the dancers from The O’Connor and Hennigan Irish Dance Academy to enjoy.
Customers are invited to come down to show their support and help send the team on their way to the world championships.
Bryan Young, Centre Manager at The Harvey Centre says, “We’re thrilled to welcome The O’Connor and Hennigan Irish Dance Academy to The Harvey Centre and support them in their quest to get to the World Championships. We’re sure they will help everyone get in the mood for St. Patricks Day while they’re here!”
